“The Foods We Do Not Know” Exhibition
CDC participated in “The Foods We Do Not Know” exhibition at BMICH, organized by FAO and the United Nations Global Environment Facility programme, with participation from the Ministry of Environment.
BMICHAbout This Project
At this national exhibition, CDC helped bring attention to traditional foods, indigenous crops, and value-added local products. The event created space to show how Sri Lanka’s lesser-known food heritage can contribute to nutrition, biodiversity conservation, food security, and rural livelihoods.
